Afterschool Enrichment Classes

The LCS Afterschool Enrichment Classes serve our K-8 students and encompass a broad range of focus areas including academic support, spiritual growth, mentoring, youth development, arts, health and fitness. The activities children participate in – outside of school hours – are critical to their development. High quality afterschool programs generate positive outcomes for youth including improved academic performance, classroom behavior, and overall health and nutrition.

In addition to our Afterschool Enrichment Classes, Lighthouse offers both before and after school care. Our Before and After School Care Program provides supervision from 7:00 to 7:45 a.m. and 3:15 to 5:30 p.m. The after school session is also available on early dismissal days until 5:30 p.m. Our experienced staff is led by a long-time LCS parent who has more than 16 years experience in childcare provision and program management. Before and After School Care gives students a safe place to study and work on homework, enjoy crafts or non-structured play time. A snack is provided during the after school session. No reservation is required. Charges incurred appear on your monthly billing statement.
