Consistently High Achievement

Year after year, Lighthouse diligently prepares our students for success as they consistently score in the top 15th percentile on the Stanford Achievement Test in math and reading. While Lighthouse focuses on rigorous academics, events to enhance creativity are an important part of the learning process.  Students in 3rd-8th grade participate in local and regional competitions sponsored by the Association of Christian Schools International (ACSI). Field trips include adventures to Pioneer Farms, the Seattle Aquarium, and the Pacific Science Center.  In the 8th grade, students work year-round to help earn their way for a five-day trip to Washington D.C where they experience firsthand the history of our country.

Preparing our students for success in high school – and beyond – is a top priority at Lighthouse. The ability to achieve great things depends upon strong leadership and key life skills. Whether it is in careers, families, communities, or volunteer efforts, the foundation gained at Lighthouse will prepare students to make a significant impact. Beginning with the 2008-2009 school year, Lighthouse will be offering a course in Financial Literacy, which covers basic financial and investment principles. This class will be taught along with Leadership and Life Skills, preparing our students to make an impact on the world.
