Enrollment for the current 2022-2023 school year is closed.

Lighthouse Christian School is now accepting applications for the 2023-2024 school year for Kindergarten, 1st grade, and 3rd grade. Please note the following before you begin the application process:

  • Openings in each grade level vary from year to year. Currently, there are a limited number of applications available.
  • Starting an application early (in the fall for the following school year) is highly recommended.
  • Please be sure to select the correct application and school year. Application fees are non-refundable and the application type and school year cannot be changed once submitted.
  • For siblings of current LCS students (enrolled and attending during the current 2022-2023 school year), please use the Current Family Applications.
  • For new students, please use the New Family Applications.

A member of our Admissions Team will contact you to schedule a Student Assessment for each applicant. Admission testing/assessment is required for all candidates applying to kindergarten through grade 8. In general, assessment/test requirements are as follows:

  • Applicant Assessments are conducted on campus and take approximately 45 minutes to one hour
  • Kindergarten – Grade 2:  One to One, individualized testing
  • Grades 3 – 8: Individualized testing with maximum of 4 students per session

In some cases, applicants will be contacted for a parent interview with one of our Administrative Team members.

Admissions decisions are based on the strength of each applicant’s overall application. Parents and guardians will receive one of three decision notifications:

  • Accepted: Applicant meets the Admission criteria of Lighthouse Christian School and enrollment will be offered.
  • Candidate Pool: Applicant meets the Admission criteria of Lighthouse Christian School, but the number of qualified applicants exceeds class capacity. If/when openings in a class occur, a qualified applicant will be selected from the Candidate Pool and offered Admission. Those we are unable to accommodate are encouraged to apply for the following year.
  • Non-Acceptance: Applicant does not meet Lighthouse’s admission criteria and enrollment will not be offered.

Applicants who are continuing on to enrollment will receive information and steps via email to complete your online enrollment packet, including payment of the enrollment fee.

Lighthouse must receive all required documents/information prior to the student’s first day of attendance. Required documents include the official student transcript from the student’s previous school, immunization records, and any other required forms.

Confidentiality of Admissions Records: The Admissions Office protects the privacy of all applicants by limiting access to application materials to only those officers and employees of Lighthouse Christian School officially concerned with the admissions process. All material submitted and acquired in connection with each student application will become part of our confidential admissions files. At no time will students, parents/guardians, or others not associated with school admissions have access to them. Admissions records will not become part of a student’s permanent record even as an enrolled Lighthouse student. Additionally, the school will not disclose the identity of individual applicants when providing any agency with any required statistical data.

  • January 9 – January 30, 2023: Re-enrollment of current students. Current Lighthouse students are given the opportunity to re-enroll to the next academic year in late January/early February, so the number of spaces available to new students will not be determined until after re-enrollment is complete.
  • Current LCS students (enrolled and attending the current 2022-2023 school year), DO NOT need to re-apply. Current students will be automatically re-enrolled.
  • January 31, 2023: Priority application deadline for siblings of currently enrolled Lighthouse students. All required items must be submitted.
  • After the above dates, we will continue to accept and enroll students on a rolling basis until full enrollment has been achieved.
