Supporting the Mission | Stewardship and Generous Hearts

Each year, the generosity of parents, grandparents, friends, and community partners helps Lighthouse shine its light in the Gig Harbor community. Tuition is intentionally set to make Lighthouse Christian School accessible for a broad range of families and covers approximately 90% of the Lighthouse operating budget. The result is a gap between tuition revenue and the actual cost of educating a child at Lighthouse – the focus of our annual fundraising efforts.

Lighthouse Christian School is an independent school and relies on the financial support of generous hearts to sustain a robust environment for learning in the classroom, honor our fabulous faculty with competitive compensation, and serve as wise stewards of our beautiful facility.

Every gift to Lighthouse, regardless of size, makes a difference. Your donation communicates your faith in us to advance the school’s mission. Broad-based participation enables the financial model to work. Each year, we ask all of our families to prayerfully consider participating in ways that are fitting for them, with a goal of 100% parent participation.

There are several ways families can help to support the Lighthouse mission, including:

  • Legacy Annual Fund
  • Lighthouse Annual Auction
  • Partners in Excellence
  • Endowment
  • Planned Giving

Each student at Lighthouse Christian School benefits from the vision and generosity of many dedicated parents and supporters. Your giving makes an incredible difference to the students and faculty at Lighthouse Christian today and in the future. As a 501c(3) not-for-profit organization, gifts to Lighthouse are tax-deductible as allowable by law.

“And whatever you do, whether in word or deed, do it all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through him.” Colossians 3:17
