The Legacy Breakfast, held each fall, is an excellent time to invite those who would like to know more about the mission of Lighthouse. Join us for this energizing morning which displays Lighthouse in a very clear and motivational way. The event is free and provides childcare for those attending the breakfast program.
Stewardship and Generous Hearts
Each year it is the generosity of parents, grandparents, friends and community partners that helps Lighthouse shine its light in the Gig Harbor community. Tuition is intentionally set to make Lighthouse Christian School accessible for a broad range of families and covers nearly 85% of the Lighthouse operating budget. The result is a typical gap of 15% between tuition revenue and the actual cost of educating a child at Lighthouse – the focus of our annual fundraising efforts.
Lighthouse Christian School is an independent school and relies on the financial support of generous hearts to sustain a robust environment for learning in the classroom, to honor our fabulous faculty with competitive compensation, and serve as wise stewards of our beautiful facility.
Every gift to Lighthouse, regardless of size, makes a difference. Your donation communicates your faith in us to advance the school’s mission. Broad-based participation enables the financial model to work. Each year we ask all of our families to prayerfully consider participating in ways that are fitting for them, with a goal of 100% parent participation.
There are several ways families can help to support the Lighthouse Mission:
Each student at Lighthouse Christian School benefits from the vision and generosity of many dedicated parents and supporters. Your giving makes an incredible difference to the students and faculty at Lighthouse Christian today and in the future. As a 501c(3) not-for-profit organization, gifts to Lighthouse are tax deductible as allowable by law.
